What Cloud 9 collects, why it's needed, and how it's protected.
Mobile information and SMS consent
No mobile information, including phone numbers or text messaging opt-in consent, will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Phone numbers and SMS consent collected through this site are used exclusively by Cloud 9 for service communication. The Meta Pixel does not receive phone numbers or SMS opt-in data.
1.Who this is about
Cloud 9 Home & Car Services, also known as Cloud 9 Car Detailing, is a locally owned mobile detailing and exterior window cleaning business in Southlake, Texas, run by Pierce Tripp. When this page says "Cloud 9," "I," or "me," it refers to this business and its owner. No third party buys access to customer information.
2.What I collect, and when
If you book online, I collect your name, email, phone number, service address, vehicle details, and any notes you add - the address and vehicle because I have to drive to you and price the job correctly. If you use the contact form or a Facebook or Instagram lead form, I collect your name, email, phone number, the type of vehicle you have, and anything you choose to tell me. That's the whole list. I don't ask for your date of birth, your income, or your ID.
3.Payment information
I don't collect any. There is no card processing on this site and no deposit at booking. Payment happens in person when the job is finished, by cash, Venmo, or Zelle, so no card or bank details ever pass through this website.
4.What I use it for
To contact you about your quote or appointment, to confirm and schedule the work, to find your address on the day, and to follow up afterward. That's it. I don't sell your information, rent it, trade it, or hand it to data brokers, and I never will.
5.Where it's stored
Bookings and leads are stored in a private Supabase database. Access is limited to the owner and authorized team members who need the information to schedule or perform the requested service. The website is hosted on Vercel. Confirmation and notification emails are sent through Gmail. Each of those companies processes the data on Cloud 9's behalf under its own security terms; none is permitted to use it for its own marketing.
6.Facebook and Instagram lead forms
If you fill out a lead form inside Facebook or Instagram, Meta pre-fills it from your profile and gives me your responses. Meta holds a copy of that submission under its own Data Policy, which is separate from this one and which you accept when you submit the form. I download those leads to contact you and for no other purpose.
7.Advertising and the Meta Pixel
This site runs the Meta Pixel, which tells me when someone who saw one of my ads visits the site, submits the contact form, or completes a booking, and the dollar value of that booking. It's how I tell whether advertising is worth the money. It sets cookies in your browser and reports to Meta. You can limit this in your Facebook ad settings, or block it with any standard ad or tracking blocker - the site works fine either way. There is no Google Analytics or other analytics tracking on this site.
8.Text messages and email
If you explicitly opt in to text messages, Cloud 9 may text you about your quote request, estimate, scheduling, appointment confirmation, service reminders, and questions about the service you requested. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing a service. Email may also be used for confirmations and replies.
9.How long I keep it
I keep booking and customer records as long as you're a customer, plus a reasonable period afterward, because most people rebook every one to three months and it saves you re-typing everything. If you want your details deleted sooner, ask and I'll delete them.
10.Your choices
You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email or text works. There's no form to fill in and no fee - it's one person checking one database.
11.Children
This service is for vehicle owners and is not directed at children. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
12.Changes to this policy
If what I collect or how I use it changes, I'll update this page and the version date at the bottom. Meaningful changes get a new version number rather than a quiet edit.
